Are you passionate about video games and curious about the career opportunities in the gaming industry? Join us on November 20 with industry professionals for a session designed to open the doors to the exciting world of game development.
Whether you're an aspiring game developer, designer or a student eager to explore career opportunities, this workshop provides a comprehensive introduction to the gaming industry in California. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from seasoned professionals and engage in discussions that will demystify the art of game development.
Furthermore, for those looking to master game development, the session will provide an overview of a new Game Development Bootcamp and AR/VR courses provided by Circuit Stream in collaboration with the University of California, Irvine Department of Continuing Education. The next cohorts for these programs will kick off on February 13, 2024.

Iris comes with over 6 years of software engineering experience. She currently works at Riot Games and leads of team of game engineers as they work towards the 10-year horizon of making League's engine a premier place to experiment with prototyping new game modes.
In her role, Iris is primarily focused on networking, replication, UI systems, rendering, performance, and memory management.

Salaar is a gameplay programmer at Santa Monica Studio who develops systems for player controls, AI behaviors, and animation tech. He has been making games since age 8 with the last 5 years being at SMS.
